We are pleased to announce the appointment of new Representative Team Managers for the 2024-2025 season.
Sincere gratitude from all at the Yeovil & District Football League is expressed to Dean Porter and Ron Hodgson for their great work and achievements with Inter-League matches over many years; a dynamic duo that will not be easy to follow.
The appointment of Stephen Painter (Giggsy) and Michael Bunting (Mick) will bring a new energy to Representative Team selection and training, not to mention a new kit to boost morale! They hope to reinstate the pride and respect that goes with being invited to join the League Representative Team, and encourage all Yeovil League players to bring commitment and their best game to all matches.
Both Giggsy and Mick both have backgrounds in grassroots football, with coaching badges and experience of running a Team from Youth to Junior age groups between them. They have a positive attitude to the task ahead, and will be seen on the sidelines scouting the local talent!
